Children ages 8-12 are invited to join STEAM for Tweens, a new science program designed to engage young minds to think like a scientist. STEAM  for Tweens will meet at 4 pm in the Pokagon Room on the second level of the library.

Leprechaun Genetics:  When you hear the word leprechaun, do you think of St. Patrick’s Day, the Fighting Irish of Notre Dame, or simply of a mischievous elf of Irish folklore?  Luke and Lola Leprechaun are about to have their first child. What will their baby look like?  Come to this STEAM for Tweens activity to use your knowledge of genetics to help Luke and Lola figure out the chances of their baby being born with certain characteristics.
