Children ages 8-12 are invited to join STEAM for Tweens, a new science program designed to engage young minds to think like a scientist. STEAM for Tweens will meet at 4 pm in the Pokagon Room on the second level of the library.
Halloween CSI: In this science activity, a note was left behind at the scene of a crime. The suspects include Dr. Cra Zee, the Count, and others. Your task will be to perform chromatography on a small piece of the note to compare the color pattern to the color pattern of the suspect’s markers to identify which marker was used to write the ransom note. Come to this STEAM for Tweens activity to practice for sleuthing skills!
Space is limited, so please register by October 31 by calling (269) 782-3826 or email (att: Pam) at dowagiaclibrarystaff@gmail.com
Join us on November 15 to further enhance your science skills as we study the phases of the moon.
