For the Summer in the City festival, the Dowagiac District Library will be hosting the Jungle Island Zoo (from Delphos, OH) and their "Exotic Petting Zoo" on Saturday, July 16 from 10 am to 2 pm behind the library near the event pavilion. During this event, guests will be able to leisurely observe, pet, and feed a variety of animals, which may include a mini zebu, an alpaca, mini sheep, a kangaroo, mini goats, a camel and a tortoise.
