Who: Children who are in K- 5th grades; teens 6th-12th grades; adults 18+ (Children not yet in kindergarten should participate in 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten)

Challenge:

Adults: Obtain a checklist of book challenges. Receive entry into grand-prize drawing for each challenge completed (up to 20 challenges).

Teens: Same as above, with slightly different list of challenges. You will also be entered into weekly drawing (there are 9 weeks) if you visit the library during the week and check out any books.

Kids: For every 10 picture books read you’ll earn an entry into grand-prize drawing. For each chapter book read, you will earn an entry into grand-prize drawing. You’ll also be entered into a weekly drawing (there are 9 weeks) if you visit the library during the week and check out any books.

Grand Prize: Winners (one winner will be picked randomly from each age group) will have a choice between either a $100 gift card to the Shedd Aquarium in Chicago or a $100 Amazon gift card.
